Luke joined the firm in 2011 as Senior Managing Director to expand and strengthen its institutional sales desk, playing a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s product-driven, boutique investment banking approach. Today, as Head of Capital Markets, he continues to drive growth by delivering highly specialized solutions that bridge institutional capital with differentiated investment opportunities.

With nearly 20 years in financial services, Luke has built deep relationships across Wall Street, leading capital formation efforts that have raised over $10 billion across hundreds of investment banking transactions. His expertise in structuring and selling investment banking products, coupled with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach, has made him a trusted partner to clients—particularly in the healthcare sector—who rely on his ability to execute complex deals in dynamic markets.

Before joining Laidlaw, Luke was Vice President in Global Capital Markets at a publicly traded investment bank in New York City. He began his career at Sonostar Capital Partners, a venture capital and private equity firm, and later worked at Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor, where he earned his Series 7 and 66 licenses.

Beyond the firm, Luke is actively involved in philanthropy and mentorship, serving as a committee member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts and supporting the Pyro’s Wings Foundation. An avid sports enthusiast, he also dedicates his time to coaching lacrosse and football.

Luke is a graduate of the University of Scranton and resides in New Jersey with his wife and three children.

Luke Kottke serves as Head of Capital Markets and joined the firm in 2011. Prior to being Head of Capital markets, Luke was Senior Managing
Director, Institutional Sales and Head of Syndicate. Prior to joining Laidlaw, Luke served as Vice President on the Global Capital Markets desk at a
publicly traded investment banking firm in New York City. Over his career, he has been instrumental in raising over $5 billion of capital in several

hundred investment banking transactions, with a focus on the Healthcare and Technology sectors, leveraging his strong relationships with buy-
side investment firms across Wall Street. Lukes expertise in selling investment banking products and research has made him an invaluable

resource to numerous banking clients. He began his career at Sonostar Capital Partners, a venture capital and private equity firm. Luke also
worked at Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor where he earned his series 7 and 66 licenses. Outside of the firm, Luke is a member of the Big
Brothers Big Sister of MA’s Annual Charity Golf Event and is also involved in the Pyro’s Wings Foundation. Luke is a graduate of the University of
Scranton and resides in New Jersey with his wife and three children. He holds the following FINRA licenses: 7 and 66
